CPA’s Safe Learning Plan
A Phased Plan for Returning to School
Here at Community of Peace Academy, when we consider the options for school in the fall, we always keep our mission at the front of our minds. At CPA, we are charged with fostering academic excellence and character development through the education of the whole person – mind, body and will.
As of now, in order to care for the whole person – students, staff and families – we have decided to begin the year in a distance learning model. This is one phase in a series of phases we may implement this school year, depending on COVID trends. Safety and health are the foundation for a sound mind, body and will.
This distance learning model contains critical improvements and extensive summer planning time that will move us closer to our ideal of academic excellence and character development.
This plan is laid out in seven phases. We will be reassessing weekly and taking Minnesota Department of Education and Minnesota Department of Health advice which will decide which phase we are in as we move through the school year. At this point we are predicting that we will start the year in Phase 2. Please click here to view CPA’s Safe Learning Plan.
